For anyone looking for adventure, the Gerilya Tour is a once in a lifetime experience that takes you into the jungle and caves once used by combatants to hide from and stage attacks against the Indonesian Army.
Taking place in the jungle, this tour is led by a former combatant who will take you through former areas where combatants hid and stored weapons to avoid the Indonesian Army, operated and planned attacks.
Please note: This tour does take place in the jungle and participants should be in good health to move through the jungle and wear appropriate attire.
After breakfast you will be picked up by our representative at your hotel. We will then directly proceed to the jungle and move to the combatants base camp where we will show you the cave that was used for storing the weapons. Then we will take you to the secret road used by the combatants' and TNI (Indonesian Army) when the conflict happened. You will be accompanied by the ex-combatants from GAM (Gerakan Aceh Merdeka) who will provide lots of information about their experience in the war. Lunch will be served by us in the jungle (brought from town) and then we will return to your hotel in the afternoon. End of trip.
